How to export your data from REsimpli, and what will not come out
How do I export my data from REsimpli?
REsimpli exports leads one pipeline at a time. Open the pipeline, select all, choose Actions, then Export Selected, pick your fields, and download the file from the Export Log under All Leads. List stacking exports to CSV. Notes, texts, call logs and tasks have no export button, so they need the Open API on 6.0 or a written request.

Your data is yours: REsimpli’s terms say the customer “retains its rights in Customer Data,” and define it to include records, communications, recordings and transcripts. Getting it out is another matter. Leads come out easily. The history attached to them does not. This is what each kind of data can reach, and how.
| Data | In the app | Open API on 6.0 | After you cancel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leads and sellers | Export per pipeline | List and details | Export on request |
| Buyers, agents, vendors | No export documented | List and details | Export on request |
| Notes | Viewable only | Activity feed, to confirm | Export on request |
| Call logs | Viewable only | Per record | Export on request |
| Call recordings | Play only | Not documented | Ask in writing |
| Texts and emails | Viewable only | Activity feed, to confirm | Export on request |
| Tasks | No export | No endpoint | Export on request |
| Appointments | No export documented | List by date range | Export on request |
| Files and photos | One file at a time | List and download | Export on request |
| List stacking | CSV export | No endpoint | Export on request |
| Dashboards | Cannot be exported | No KPI endpoint | Rebuild elsewhere |
How do you export leads from REsimpli?
Leads export from inside each pipeline, and the file is collected afterwards from a log rather than downloaded on the spot. These are the steps from REsimpli’s own article.
-
Open the pipeline
Open the pipeline you want to export. Add a filter only if you want part of it.
-
Select every lead
Click Selected, then Select All.
-
Start the export
Click Actions, then Export Selected, name the file and click Continue.
-
Keep every field you may need
On the data selection screen, leave the fields ticked. A field you drop now is a field you cannot map later.
-
Export and download
Click Export Records. When it finishes, go to All Leads, open the Export Log tab and click the download icon beside your export.
-
Repeat for every pipeline
Exports run one pipeline at a time, so repeat for Dead Leads and every transaction pipeline.
What has no export button?
The history. REsimpli’s Communication Logs screen lists call, text and email logs with filters for team member, duration and date range, and each lead carries an activity log of every status it passed through. None of these has a documented export. Notes are searchable across leads and tasks but do not export either, and recordings can be played in the app but have no documented download. REsimpli also lists dashboards among things that cannot be printed, shared or exported.
Can the Open API get the rest out?
Partly, and only on 6.0. REsimpli’s Open API is included on every plan, with one key per account under Settings, then API and Webhooks. It reads lead, buyer, agent and vendor lists, appointments, files, and a call log and an activity feed for each record. It has no notes or tasks endpoint at launch, and its documentation describes requests but not responses, so what the activity feed returns has to be confirmed with a test pull. The Open API guide has the details and the limits.
What about after you cancel?
For thirty days after termination, REsimpli’s terms let you request “a commercially reasonable export of Customer Data.” After that the data may be deleted. Treat it as a safety net for gaps, not as the plan.
How do migration teams get the full history?
The same way you would, with more patience. We take a read-only API key, test what the activity feed returns on a handful of leads, export every pipeline, then pull every record’s call log and activity into a staging store before mapping anything. Whatever the API does not reach goes into a written request to REsimpli, with the answer recorded. If that is the job you are facing, here is how the migration works.
What users say about getting data out
On exit, we couldn't download vendor assets—only view them—and the available reports weren't useful.
Broken API: Core integrations are completely shattered, leaving automated business ecosystems at a standstill.
More questions
How do I export all my leads from REsimpli?
Export each pipeline in turn, including Dead Leads and transaction pipelines, using Actions, then Export Selected. Each file waits in the Export Log under All Leads, not inside the pipeline you exported from.
Can I export notes from REsimpli?
REsimpli documents no export for notes. They are searchable in the app, and the Open API has no notes endpoint at launch. Notes may appear in the per-record activity feed, which you confirm with a test pull.
Can I download my REsimpli call recordings?
REsimpli says recordings are saved on the lead's activity log and in call logs, and kept for as long as the account is active. It documents listening to them, not a bulk download, so plan for recordings before you cancel.
Does REsimpli export text messages?
The Communication Logs screen shows SMS logs with filters, but REsimpli documents no export for them. On 6.0 the Open API's per-record activity feed may carry conversations, which a test pull confirms.
Can I export my REsimpli dashboards?
No. REsimpli says dashboards cannot be printed, shared or exported, and suggests the Open API for the underlying data, which has no dashboard or KPI endpoint yet.
Where do I find my REsimpli API key?
On REsimpli 6.0, under Settings, then API and Webhooks. Each account has one key, and REsimpli says the Open API does not work with the old version of the platform.
