How do I cancel REsimpli?

Cancel REsimpli in Settings, then Billing, then Cancel Subscription, or ask support by email or chat. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and charges are not refunded once incurred. Export your data and start porting your phone numbers first, while the account is still active.

Cancelling REsimpli takes a minute. Leaving it well takes a few weeks, because two things depend on the account still being active: getting your history out, and taking your phone numbers with you. Do them in this order.

  1. Find your renewal date

Cancelling stops the next renewal, not the current period. Know the date so exports and ports finish before it.

  2. Export everything you can reach

Export each pipeline’s leads with all fields, download the files and recordings you need, and pull the rest through the Open API if your account is on 6.0.

  3. Start porting your phone numbers

The numbers sit on REsimpli’s carrier account. Ask support in writing for the port-out details and start the port with your new provider.

  4. Move your lead intake

Point web forms, pay-per-lead webhooks and Zapier zaps at your new system so no new lead lands in an account you are closing.

  5. Cancel in Settings, Billing, Cancel Subscription

Or ask REsimpli support by email or chat. Keep the confirmation. Access continues to the end of the paid period.

  6. Request a final export within thirty days

The terms allow a commercially reasonable export request for thirty days after termination. After that the data may be deleted.

The order matters most for phone numbers: a port has to finish before the account that holds them closes.

What do REsimpli’s terms say about cancelling?

The terms name two ways to cancel: “through Settings › Billing › Cancel Subscription or by requesting cancellation through REsimpli support by email or chat.” Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and access continues until then.

On money, the terms are plain. Charges are nonrefundable once incurred, there is no thirty-day money-back guarantee on annual plans, and add-ons, usage-based charges and carrier charges are nonrefundable too. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. That is why the renewal date is the first thing to find.

REsimpli’s older FAQ page reads more generously, promising a refund within the first 14 days and saying you are “not in any long-term contract.” The terms are newer, effective September 17, 2026. Where the two differ, ask REsimpli in writing which one applies to your account before you rely on either.

What should you export before you cancel?

Your leads export from each pipeline with a field picker, and files download one at a time. Notes, call logs, text threads and tasks have no export button in the app, which is where most teams lose history. The export guide goes through each kind of data and the route that reaches it, including the Open API on 6.0.

What happens to your phone numbers?

REsimpli provisions numbers through Twilio under its own account, and its terms say port-out and post-cancellation handling follow the carrier’s requirements and REsimpli’s procedures. In practice that means starting the port while you are still a customer. The phone number guide covers what to ask for and how long texting registration takes on the other side.

Is there anything to do after you cancel?

Yes, one thing. For thirty days after the account ends, REsimpli’s terms let you request “a commercially reasonable export of Customer Data.” Use it for anything you could not pull yourself, ask in writing, and keep the reply.

What users say about cancelling

More questions

Can I cancel REsimpli anytime?

REsimpli's pricing page says monthly plans are month to month and can be cancelled anytime. Annual plans cover a twelve-month term and are non-refundable once the free trial ends.

Will I get a refund if I cancel REsimpli?

Usually not. The terms say cancelling stops future renewals but does not ordinarily refund or prorate the current period, and that add-ons, usage charges and carrier charges are nonrefundable.

What happens to my data after I cancel REsimpli?

For thirty days after termination you can request a commercially reasonable export of your data. After that, REsimpli may delete it under its retention schedule, so export before you cancel.

What happens to my REsimpli phone numbers when I cancel?

The terms say port-out, number release and post-cancellation handling follow the carrier's requirements and REsimpli's procedures. Start any port before you cancel so the numbers are not released with the account.

Does REsimpli have a money-back guarantee?

REsimpli's FAQ page still promises a refund if you ask within the first 14 days and says there is no long-term contract. Its terms, effective September 17, 2026, say charges are nonrefundable once incurred and annual plans have no thirty-day money-back guarantee. Ask REsimpli in writing which applies to your account.

Can I cancel during the REsimpli free trial?

Yes. The terms say cancelling during the fourteen-day trial prevents the first subscription charge.

Who owns my data in REsimpli?

You do. REsimpli's terms say the customer retains its rights in Customer Data, which they define to include records, communications, recordings, transcripts, and contact and property information.
