REsimpli texts not sending? Check 10DLC, daily limits and landline flags

Why won't my REsimpli texts send?

REsimpli's help center lists the usual causes. Outbound texts do not send until your A2P 10DLC registration is approved and your numbers are linked, and carrier review takes around two to four weeks. Your first message must include your 10DLC company name. Accounts are capped at about 2,500 texts a day, sent only 8 AM to 8 PM recipient time.

Checked against REsimpli's published pages, September 2026.

Most REsimpli texts that fail are stopped by carrier rules every US business texter lives with, not by a bug. Work through these checks in order before you raise a ticket, and you will either find the cause or have the evidence support needs.

  1. Is your 10DLC registration approved?

REsimpli says outbound texts do not go out until A2P 10DLC is approved. Carrier review takes around two to four weeks.

  2. Are your numbers linked to the campaign?

Approved but still blocked? Existing numbers usually link within a few days of approval; newly ported numbers link once configured.

  3. Does your first message name your company?

The first text to each contact must include your 10DLC company name or carriers will not deliver it. Follow-ups do not need it.

  4. Are you inside the limits?

Texts go out 8 AM to 8 PM in the recipient’s time zone, up to about 2,500 a day per account. Support can ask the carrier to raise the cap.

  5. Is the number flagged, or read as a landline?

Spam labels can take several months to clear. Users report numbers newly read as landlines since 6.0; send those to support.

In the order to check them. Every step comes from REsimpli's own help center, apart from the landline reports, which come from users.

Is my 10DLC registration approved and my numbers linked?

A2P 10DLC is how US carriers vet business texting from local numbers, and REsimpli is clear that nothing goes out before approval. When the brand and campaign are approved, REsimpli says existing numbers are linked to the campaign automatically, usually within a few days, and newly ported numbers are linked once configured. If you were approved yesterday, the numbers are the likely reason. The fees REsimpli lists are $50 to enable T-Mobile messaging, a $4 carrier registration fee and $10 a month for every one to forty-nine numbers.

Does my first message include my 10DLC company name?

It has to. REsimpli says carriers require your 10DLC company name in the first message to each contact, and the message will not be delivered without it. Follow-ups do not need it. Check your first-touch templates and any automation that sends the opening text.

Did I hit the daily limit or the sending window?

The default is about 2,500 texts a day per account, not per number, which REsimpli says is a carrier limit set by Twilio that support can ask to raise. Separately, texts only go out between 8 AM and 8 PM in the time zone of the number you are texting, judged by its area code.

Why are some numbers suddenly flagged as landlines?

REsimpli’s help center does not explain this one. Since 6.0, users have reported numbers they had texted for months being treated as landlines and blocked. Texts cannot reach a true landline, so confirm the line type, and send the numbers that are wrongly classified to support with dates and examples.

How long does it take to clear a spam label?

REsimpli’s spam article says remediation is not instant: some improvement can show within days or weeks, and full propagation across carriers, analytics providers and devices can take several months. Rotating fresh numbers does not fix the sending pattern that earned the label.

Would texting be easier somewhere else?

The rules travel with you. Any provider sending business texts from US local numbers needs 10DLC approval; HubSpot’s own marketing SMS, for example, lists six to eight business days for 10DLC registration and requires Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise with an SMS add-on. If you are planning a move, start the new registration before you port, as the phone number guide explains.

What users say about texting

More questions

My 10DLC registration is approved. Why can't I send texts?

REsimpli says your numbers may not be linked to the campaign yet. Existing numbers usually link within a few days of approval, and newly ported numbers link once they are configured.

How long does 10DLC registration take in REsimpli?

Around two to four weeks of carrier review, which REsimpli says is outside its control. Its article lists $50 to enable T-Mobile messaging, a $4 carrier registration fee and $10 a month for every one to forty-nine numbers.

How many texts can I send per day on REsimpli?

About 2,500 per day per account, not per number. REsimpli says this is a carrier limit set by Twilio and that support can request an increase on your behalf.

What time can REsimpli send texts?

Between 8 AM and 8 PM in the time zone of the number you are texting, judged by its area code, not by your own time zone or the property address.

Why does REsimpli say a number I text is a landline?

REsimpli's help center does not document this. A user reported after 6.0 that numbers they had texted for months were suddenly identified as landlines and could not be texted. Confirm the line type, then send misclassified numbers to REsimpli support.

Would texting be easier in another CRM?

The registration rules follow you. Business texting from US local numbers needs A2P 10DLC approval wherever you send from; HubSpot, for example, says its marketing SMS registration takes six to eight business days. What changes is the tooling around it.
