What changed in REsimpli 6.0, and how do I fix what broke?
REsimpli 6.0 replaced the old platform for every account on September 12, 2026, after ten hours of planned downtime. REsimpli's own notes say drip campaigns move into Automations switched off, Zapier and other integrations must be reconnected, saved filters must be rebuilt, and the mobile app is new. Leads, notes, tasks and phone numbers carry over.

REsimpli 6.0 is a new platform, not an update to the old one, and every account moved to it on the same Saturday. Most of what feels broken falls into two groups: things REsimpli switched off or disconnected on purpose during the move, which you can turn back on, and rollout problems users are still reporting. This guide separates the two.

What did REsimpli switch off or disconnect on purpose?
These changes come straight from REsimpli’s own transition notes. Each one has a fix you can make today, and the drip campaign fix has its own step-by-step guide.

Your records came across. REsimpli says leads, tasks, notes, task logs, appointments, phone numbers and templates all transferred, and that every number kept its type.
What are users reporting since the update?
Outside the planned changes, the public reports cluster around a few themes: pages lagging, calls that do not ring through, texts refused because a number now reads as a landline, tags that moved, and more clicks for everyday tasks. REsimpli’s founder answered users directly in the Reddit thread and acknowledged the rollout had not gone as the company hoped.

Why do some sites say 6.0 launched on August 15?
Because REsimpli said so first. A REsimpli blog post updated July 22 gave “6.0 launch date: August 15, 2026.” The launch moved to Saturday, September 12, which is the date in REsimpli’s help center, and the iOS app has shipped three fix releases since, reaching 6.0.3 on September 20. Search results and AI answers that still say August 15 are repeating the preview post.
Should you wait it out or plan a move?
Some of this is launch turbulence, and 6.0 added things users had asked for, including an Open API on every plan and bundled calling and texting under fair use. Waiting a few weeks is a reasonable choice for a team that is otherwise happy.
If you are weighing a move, three facts decide the timing more than any bug does:
- Your renewal date. Legacy pricing holds until your first renewal on or after November 1, 2026, and charges are not refunded once incurred. The pricing guide has the new plans.
- Whether your history has to come with you. Notes, call logs and texts have no export button, so the route matters. The export guide shows what can come out and how.
- Your phone numbers. They are provisioned on REsimpli’s carrier account, so porting them out takes planning. See porting your numbers out.
What REsimpli users report
The update completely wiped out legacy workflows. Years of carefully built automations vanished overnight.
They had a good system which lack tons of features but basics were strong, now they have a new system which has tons of features but everything is broken from basic calling and texting to lead management.
This "update" just add 10 clicks to everything I have to do, now everything is a new popup window.
Since the update, some of those tags have disappeared or rearranged themselves, leaving my leads scattered and completely disorganized.
We should have handled the transition better.
The founder replied to users in the same thread and took responsibility for the rollout.
More questions
Why did my REsimpli drip campaigns stop after the update?
REsimpli's transition notes say drip campaigns transfer into Automations but arrive switched off and stop running. Nothing is deleted. You re-enrol leads under Automations yourself once you have checked each automation.
Why did my Zapier zaps stop working with REsimpli?
Because 6.0 is a new platform, REsimpli says integrations and incoming webhooks, including those from pay-per-lead providers, have to be set up again, and Zapier must be reconnected using the new REsimpli 6.0 Zapier app.
Did I lose calls or texts during the 6.0 switchover?
REsimpli planned the platform to be down from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM Eastern on September 12 and says calls and texts that arrived in that window were not captured automatically. Support can request those call and text logs from Twilio.
Where did my saved filters go?
Saved filters did not carry over to 6.0. REsimpli's instructions are to rebuild them under Add Filter, then Manage Filter, including any folders.
Is ringless voicemail gone in REsimpli 6.0?
Yes. REsimpli discontinued ringless voicemail in 6.0, saying results were consistently poor, and points to AI calling as the replacement.
Is REsimpli down right now?
We could not find a public status page for REsimpli. The only planned downtime it published for 6.0 was 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM Eastern on September 12. For slow or broken pages since then, REsimpli's fix is to clear your browser cache and log in again.
When did REsimpli 6.0 actually launch?
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, according to REsimpli's help center. A REsimpli blog post from July 22 announced August 15, which is why some sites and AI answers still give that date.
Will my REsimpli price change because of 6.0?
Existing customers keep their current pricing until their first renewal on or after November 1, 2026, under REsimpli's terms. New signups see the new plans only.
